By default, the ENGINE GUARD gives a beep on startup but this can be disabled by pressing the set button for 10 seconds while in input 1 to enter parameter adjustment mode. Then press next until you reach P11 and press set again until the dot starts flashing indicating you are in edit mode. Simply change it to off then press set again to save the change. On the next boot, the buzzer will be silent.
